BIOGRAPHY
Born in Moscow, in a family of musicians, Yerokhin is one of the brightest pianist
of his generation.
Sergei Yerokhin began to study with his father and at the Moscow Central Music School with Vadim Sukhanov. He made his debut at the age of 16 as a soloist with the Minsk Philharmonic Orchestra, performing the Tchaikovsky's Concerto No. 1 and Rachmaninov's Concerto No. 2, and continued his training at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the direction of Dimitri Bashkirov.
His career was launched with the impulse of his awards in important international competitions, acting in prestigious concert halls: Wigmore Hall in London, Herkulessal in Munich, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Gran Sala Verdi in Milan (Societá dei Concerti Milano), Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Moscow International Perfomance Arts Center, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, etc.
After his presence at the Miami Festival, James Ross dedicated countless praise to him:
"Yerokhin is a greatly gifted, provocative musician, with exceptional facility, coloristic flair and intelligent sensitivity to period styles.
Too many pianists are
afraid of molding Pictures too personally and possibly picking it to pieces. But Yerokhin, like
Sviatoslav Richter, understands its orchestral textures"

Herald
He has also taken the best stages in Spain: The Royal Theater and The National Auditorium in Madrid, Palau de Música in Barcelona, Palau de Música in Valencia, Palace of Festivals of Santander Euskalduna Palace of Bilbao. After his participation in the Cycle of Great Soloists of the Zaragoza Auditorium in 2013 together with artists such as Volodos, Lang Lang, Pogorelich, the critics acclaim him unanimously:
"... The musician from Moscow made us enjoy a performance of enormous sensitivity, comparable to that of supreme artists like Sviatoslav Richter or Alfred Brendel..."

"An interpreter who gives priority to imagination, poetic expressiveness and the fact of recreating with the sounds, obeying some inspirational dose of the moment..."
Enrique
Franco, El País
"The Muscovite musician, who was awarded at the age of 26 at the renowned Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition, appeared yesterday with an imposing presence, a prodigious technique and an energetic interpretation. And with all this, the russian pianist soon won the audience's affection, as soon as the recital began"
